Paul Oakenfold Extends Residency at Rain Nightclub Through 2010

Las Vegas – July 9, 2009 – Rain Nightclub inside Palms Casino Resort continues to host one of Las Vegas’ most highly-attended industry nights, Paul Oakenfold Presents: Perfecto Las Vegas as the world’s leading DJ and remixer, Paul Oakenfold, extends his residency through 2010.

A collaboration between Paul Oakenfold and award-winning VJ and director, Vello Virkhaus, Paul Oakenfold Presents: Perfecto Las Vegas features various cutting-edge design and visual art elements, including full audio-visual system integration, multi-screen content and computer graphics.  The weekly production was conceptualized specifically for Rain Nightclub, the legendary 25,000 square-foot club and concert venue at Palms Casino Resort. Since opening in 2001, Rain Nightclub has built a reputation for its stellar special effects and international headlining acts.   Named after Oakenfold’s label, Perfecto Records, the show takes place every Saturday through 2010.  Oakenfold is slated to perform at 26 of the scheduled show dates and Perfecto Las Vegas will feature select internationally-acclaimed DJs to host in his absence.
